Hi, can anybody help - my Doblo 1.9 dies when I am on low revs, and when I go to accelerate,it doesn't instantly respond, and I have to take my foot off accelerator to then apply it again in order to get the revs up. When I'm going along on a straight run after that it is ok, but I almost stall (it doesnt entirely cut out) and cars behind toot as I hold everyone up.

Hi thanks for replying. How do I find this?, and ascertain if it is a "fly by wire type"? I assume if it is, then I assume the sensor would need replacing as they cannot be fixed?. To be precise- the engine dies when I am accelerating,(but it doesn't cut out completely)
after changing gear. If I continue to depress the throttle when this happens - it does not respond- only when I release the throttle fully, and monetarily does it allow me to continue accelerating. It's a bit like playing a game with it. I accelerate away -go into second -then it dies as I begin to throttle after changing gear, so I have to quickly lift my foot off the throttle then it allows me to continue accelerating. Once I am on the straight it is mostly ok- not stalling - so I can go on the main road for miles and there is no problem, only when I am changing gears and accelerating after each gear change.

Like there's nothing there- putting your foot on a marshmallow after changing gear - then only when I release my foot all the way up (throttle) does it respond when I accelerate again. (the gap is like momentarily - as if when you're changing gear and take your foot off the accelerator-but you are already in gear)

It idles, and does not cut out altogether- and once running along on a straight bit of road it drives fine. It's a pain, because when I'm pulling away- the car almost stops due to lack of revs, and cars behind me have to brake as it must appear to them that I'm stopping suddenly.
