Hi all, Was on here years ago asking advice on buying a Doblo and I purchased one 5 years ago and apart from consumables the car has been brilliant. Anyways the car wouldn't go in gear about a week ago and the garage diagnosed as slave cylinder which they duly replaced for £150 which I was happy with. Anyway as soon as I had picked up the old girl she started overheating (bearing in mind she had never gone past the middle of the gauge in 5 years). There was no hot air through the heater and the header tank was fine no pressure or bubbles so cylinder head appeared fine. Also no obvious leaks on the ground at all. Took it back to said garage to ask what they had done to cause the leak but they said they would not have had to go near any coolant hoses etc to cause it. I spoke to them today and bloke said there is a massive leak from back of engine but without taking loads of bits off and costing loads he cannot say what it is and as the car is 03 and rattles a bit it does not seem worth it. I just wondered if he would have been anywhere near where ha said the apparent leak is as it seems a bit of a coincidence it leaks straight after he works on it. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
