New member here with an issue I'm hoping you can help with.

Both my dipped headlights have failed.
Both bulbs and fuses are good.
The high beams work fine and also latch on as normal when the light switch is in the on position.
All other lights are working fine and there are no warning lights illuminated.
The issue occurred after having had the hazard lights on for a long while, maybe 30 minutes so low battery voltage on restart may have contributed.
I'd appreciate any insight on where to look next.

Hi.

That does sound odd..

As an idea..and cheap..simple

Remove the negative lead connection from the battery for an hour..

A reboot may well restore function..

Thanks for the quick reply Charlie.
I initially didn't realise that there were separate bulbs for DRLs and main beams and suspected an issue with the DRL settings.
So I did as you suggested leaving the battery disconnected overnight this weekend.

Unfortunately it didn't resolve the situation.

No joy with this since, a cheapo OBD scanner shows no faults.
I've temporarily wired the headlights to a switch + fuse to allow me drive until I figure it out.
Anyone know if there is a relay in the headlight circuit?
No identification details for the relays in the manual.
