Hi

I took out the side rear window to have a go at tinting but the catch (that opens about an inch) has come loose. Both bits that clamp through the hole in the window aren't tight anymore.
Any ideas how to tighten this?

By the way the tinting wasn't the best job!!!

My first ever attempt of window tinting was on my Doblo and I did the same thing, removed the rear side windows (seemed easier).

My latches where slightly loose was well. In my case the left latch had a hollow pin. The right a solid pin.

On the left (hollow) I grabbed a drift punch and, with a friend holding the window, put the end of the pin on a very strudy vise and smacked it twice, HARD....wroked great.

On the right, I tack-welded two bolt to the jaws of the vise point towards each other. Opened the vise, put the right pin between them and started closing the vise, applying pressure to squeeze the pin tighter. That worked also.

I know you can get replacement hardware on eBay for about £20 for both windows, so that's an option too.
