I am going to change the timing belt on my 2001 Doblo 1.9d, 79000 miles. The grooves on the belt are runnng across the belt. The kit I want to buy,Micro V-Kit,has the grooves running lengthways. The kit appears to have all pulleys in it and the translation backs it up, I think, I am in Italy and don't speak the language. Has anyone had any experiences with this kit ?

As far as I am aware all cambelts have grooves running across the belt ..I'm sure if it has grooves doing anything other than that it is NOT a cambelt ....getting something wrong when changing a cambelt can wreck the engine ....best bet look up the part number , to be sure ..... ps Have you got a link to the kit you want to buy ?
