Sorry about the silly question. I am in Italy and don't speak the language. The car was in the garage and a translator friend said the mechanic mentioned a noisy distributor that needs changing. My friend still insists he meant the distributor cap which it obviously cannot be. The noise seams to be a slight tinny rattle on top of the engine. Any ideas anyone ?

Looking through ePER.. the FIAT parts system might help.. as ' distribution'
seems to be a common phrase.. ;)

Do you have the ' upright' Italian engine

Or the 'Laidback' French one..?
