Hi to all new to the forum

I bought a 2012 Fiat doblo 1.3 multi jet with a knackered engine. I’ve rebuilt engine, 3 new rods and a new crank clean the head ect ect it’s all ready to go back together using Erling gaskets and bolts. Only snag is sourcing a new oil pump ( that’s what had failed and spun the bottom end bearings) I’ve contacted Fiat and was told £400 for a new one!! Euro parts are the same and was told they get them from main dealer!

There are some on eBay and they come as a kit with timing chain ect ect for around £100 but I’m worried they may be poor quality and not last long! There not branded with any manufacturer I know.

I’ve spent around £500 on engine already so don’t want to risk it for cheap pump but £400 on a oil pump seems ridiculous!! I was hoping someone on here may have had experience with these eBay oil pumps or know where I could get a good oem one from.
