General Mileage Flashing,steering wheel controls not working

Hi,

This is my first Fiat van which I purchased from an auction.On collecting the van the mileage was flashing and the steering controls do not work however the stereo works as it should.

I have had the van checked on a Fiat WiTech diagnostic tool and a fault was logged for " no communication with convergence module" in the body control unit. A proxy alignment was then done but failed due to, can not communicate with convenience module.

I have removed the stereo and checked all the connectors on the back and they all look good.

I am not sure if the van has a separate Bluetooth module or it is part of the stereo and its location on the van?

Any advise appreciated.

Fixed.

bluespot, how did u fix it...i have same issue. My Doblo has had an Android stereo fitted, and the mileage is flashing and steering wheel buttons dont work.
On the stereo i can go into a section to setup SWB's and apparently there is a Canbus in the stereo.
