Hi all, I've got an 07 plate 1.4 Petrol Doblo car, it seems to idle a little rough and when am sitting at eg 30mph in 4th gear with very little pressure on the accelerator, it stutters, almost bunny hopping. Any suggestions? If this was a diesel car I'd be checking the EGR valve, it's a while since I've run a petrol car though.....

Well mine is a 2002 1.9 JTD diesel and when this happened, it was the main crank wheel. They are on two pieces and the inside is plastic. New pulley and it all went away.

On a side note, it took awhile to figure this out, during which time the plastic fittings on the water pump had vibrated enough to allow water to escape when the engine cooled. If yer loosing water and can't find the leak, replace the water pump assembly! Why they made those fittings plastic I will never know!
