well after weeks of feeling down about my doblo cutting out ,i decided yesterday to take the egr valve off and give it a good clean and blanked it off when i refitted it, still havent been able to work out where the map sensor is on my engine ,
on the first initial journey afterwards ,it ran lovely for 5 mins then started the usual cutting out nonsense ,even when travelling at 40mph
it was left for a good 2 hours before the return journey and to my disbelief it ran lovely for the complete 15 mile journey ,no crazy revs no cutting out,

could i have actually done something which has been a success

That's not a JTD it's an SX. The SX does not have a MAP sensor.
Edit : see you did find out it wasn't a JTD, I'v been out of the country so not keeping up,

thanks, i found out about 2 weeks ago and said in another post, i kept looking at jtd engines and thought that looks nothing like mine, then found it was a 1.9 sx
but thanks anyway
