So I have a couple after market toys to install. A reverse camera (built into a brand new double DIN Android 8 system) and backup sensors. Both require a +12V "sensor" input (to tell when reverse is selected) to turn these things on.

Now the reverse sensors manual recommends that you tee into the reverse light to get it's input.

The "radio" recommends teeing into the "reverse switch".

Well I've removed the entire center console and don't see anything that looks like a reverse switch.

So, my question, on a 2002 Doblo 1.9JTD SX ELX (yes, SX, left hand drive! :p ) where is the "switch/sensor that engages the reverse lights?

The reverse switch is normally on the gearbox

Thanks Chris! Found it. Not exactly easy to get to without a lift.

I know this is probably not the best way, but decided to take the reverse line to the light, into a standard car relay, ground the other side. Then through the relay, 12V from the battery, to the light, reverse sensor and camera (independantly fused). It works, but I'm sure the wiring Gods are angry!

:p
