I have a Doblo cargo van LWB 2010, 1.6l diesel. Electrical problems - intermittent which causes the following:
usually the various warnings start with-
fuel cut off unavailable - comes up as message
yellow engine light, loud warning sign and message saying check engine
red ABS light - very occasionally
couple of times Fiat code system message- wouldn't start
and now sometimes accelerates without me pressing accelerater and rev, fuel and engine temperature dials cut out.
Garage have put computer on it but say until it breaks down completely like finding a needle in a haystack. Anyone know of this problem and a possible solution. Have read that steering rod has been know to chaff against wires causing gremlins in electrics. Garage thinks this relates to Fiat 500 not Doblo van.
Anyone know of this problem and solution. Want to get fixed asap.
