Hi I recently purchased a 2011 Doblo 1.3 multijet van which had only done 35000 miles and I paid £3500 for it ( bargain ?!) I have a few little issues namely
1) changes gear fine but just lift clutch pedal and it’s away and going, no noise issues or anything, new clutch ? Or something else ?
2) slide door now won’t work unlock ? Other doors open and lock fine..
Any help would be appreciated just to get a heads up before visiting a garage.

My mj cars have a LOW Clutch bite point.

If its not crunching gears.. then just live with it..

Dooor locks.. there is a weird thing linked to fuel filler cap..

Investigate that 1st..

With regard to the side door when I got home and tried it again it opened !so maybe a weird gremlin....
The clutch is really low as in just lift and it engages, I only bought the van Saturday and it seemed higher then ?!

Worth bleeding the clutch cylinder..

Never had side door problems, NOW rear doors time to remove & clean again,
Cant tell you if the mechanism is the same but there is a part of the central locking on rear that slides or not with a very light spring, it becomes sticky making for intermittent \ non opening.
A bump by the handle will sometimes release it

As far as I know the Doblo clutch bite point is very early IMO. I have an RX8 and its clutch doesn't engage as soon as my Doblo.

The side door is the plastic lock retainer is loose, allowing the barrel to move. So sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I found a new unit on ebay for £20 which solved it after a failed epoxy attempt (metal to plastic rarely works).
