Hi All,

I have a 2006 Doblo Cargo 1.9jtd. The driver side window does not work, manual winder type. I would like to ask how the doorcard is removed so I can have a look. I know I have to remove the winder, the doorcard has what appears to be grommets. Question is, are they grommets? or are they blanking caps to screwheads.
Many thanks, any help welcome.
Gary.

They are plastic plugs that hold the door card on ,not sure if they aren't called fir tree clips, they go in very easy but are very tight to remove ,a door card removal tool is needed to avoid any damage slip is down between the card and door itself ,you can't use it on the clips themselves as most are recessed down a hole .

They are self contained clips.

Carefully prise the card away from the door

Small sections at a time ;)

You want a stiff flat implement..or 2

Like a tyre lever ;)

But screwdrivers can do the job.

Maybe start where a door pocket..or other 'screwdown'feature will tie the card in place if you damage the 1st clip.

The top of card is often 'hung' from the window aperture.

Take pics as you go.. help you figure it out.. and potentially view the clips in situ
