After 12 years, the rear telescopic arms on the Doblo hatch have weakened enough to constantly drop the hatch on my head when loading. So just need a friendly expert to advise on how to replace them. Any offers?

As said prop the rear door up ,remove the little clip over each end then simply knock or pull them off ,be careful not to let the door shut with no rams on
Generally not difficult to replace, with new ones in your hand, the fixing method is easier to see.
As said, the tailgate is heavy, so you need help. A suitable prop is also useful, as your assistant may need to rest if you struggle.
