Update I have now received the information for timing up my 1.9d doblo I have a question... I understand how a four stroke engine works just want clarify that when I set and lock the crank and the cam up on the timing marks that it will be then ready to put the cam belt on even though if the belt was already on and timed up that each time you hand crank engine round onto the crank Timing mark that it could be 180 degrees out..but with me setting crank and timing and locking off before belt is fitted that as long as marks are lined up all will be good when I refit the belt ???

Ok it's Saturday morning time to put the new Timing belt back on after sealing the new water pump leak
I received the information I required to reset up the timing on the crank / cam and fuel pump all are now in sync and it started on the button ..fuel pump was originally out of sync so I've re timed and it's now running sweet my old 2002 doblo van gets to live another day with its new cam belt kit and water pump

It was fine once I got information on how to set up everything and yes the fuel pump had hole in the front sprocket that I fitted a 6mm drill the rest was timed up by using locking kit on the crank / cam and pin in the fuel pump quite easy really I couldn't have done it with out the information..I'm used to vauxhalls and cam chains not belts
