at the back of me engine, 1.3 2007 diesel , 2 rubber tube goes into the heater bit that heats your car up, one off these has a bleed valve on, this has fallen off, and leaking a bit, it looks like the brass bit is still in it, now, do I dig it out, take hose off first, replace plug, or just get a new hose, with new plug, were do I get the plug from, wots it called, or get some metal putty, put over hole, with jubilee clip round it to seal it up, just got vehicle last week, looking at it, it will be a bit of a pig to get out

many thanks

Hi.
It sounds like the airbleed screw.

Most FIATs have similar..

So either find one in a scrap yard.. or try plugging with a basic screw.

IDEA: look in punto 2 section.. somebody may have posted the thread dimensions.

Some info..

cheers, all, its number 11, the 2 hose one, the thing is, the screw is still in it, just the top bit brock off, so I ether have to take pipe out drill out screw, or leave pipe in and bodge job, ie, metal putty, it looks like metal putty, was going to put clip around it, but that is were the 2 pipes are joined,

good idea, small drill, but trying to get into space, a bit tight, so got some sandpaper, rough it up a bit, on went the metal putty, simed to have done the job for now, (y)
