My Doblo is two years/22,000 old. I'm on my second drivers side top mount inside two months and it looks like a third is on the cards. The garage I always
use (Top blokes) said last time water getting in maybe the root of the problem.
we're just back from holiday on the Isle Of Mull (from Staffordshire) and have clocked up over a 1,000 miles without issue until the last couple of days. Anyone throw any light on what's happening.

It seems that the top mounts are a weak point. In saying that, the frequency of failure you have mentioned points possibly to a further problem?
On my 2012 (263) I replaced the o/side mount at 42k. I'm now on 49k some six months later.
The only other suspension related problems I have had has been with the rear shock absorbers, I replaced them at 22k and 48k.
On other threads there is also mention of front springs breaking, I have yet to experience that ?

How much did you pay for replacing the top mounts, I've been quoted £105 parts and labour to replace the front pair on mine which sounds quite reasonable regarding the danger in DIY.

Would anyone know what struts are compatible with which doblo years and model so I can scrimmage the scrap yard, mines a 52 plate jtd. The bearing on mine are fine it's just the rubber that perished allowing free play on the body, seem to be from factory.
