I've just bought a 2015 Doblo Cargo 1.3 multijet after owning 3 1.9 Multijets and was looking to change the oil and filter.
What is the best grade of oil for this engine, it has 48,000 miles on it.

2015 should have a dpf so will need 5w-30 c2 Grade for low ash

Thanks, ordered it today. Any idea on the amount of oil it'll take with a filter change.

If I remember right it's around 3 litres
It should be in your handbook normally near the back with type of oil and quantity

Check the filter is the correct one for your 1.3..... I didn’t, meant a 30 mile round trip in a mates car back to eurocarparts for the correct ones

Good pot there's two types
If your lucky you should be able to take the heat shield off the filter housing and it will say if it's a purflux types or ufi type

There are two types of filter. One is short and squat with a tapered connection on the bottom, the other longer and thinner with tabs on the bottom. My 1.3 MJ was the longer type with tabs and was about £9 from Halfords (HOF313)
