Had loads and loads of problems with my Doblo after the battery exploded and covered everything in acid. I thought I had cured everything but today I got the yellow triangle up and it said service coupon expired on the dashboard. (yellow triangle went out after a restart) Anybody know what that means and how can I delete it? its a late 2014 1.6 multijet.
Thanks :)

Its due one now, but I don't want to do it until I've cleared the message.....providing it doesn't suffer a terminal electrical meltdown in the mean time!

Will multiecuscan clear this message on the free version does anybody know? I know older dobbies you could clear the service message from the menu on your car, but later ones like mine have to be done with a computer of sorts. I'm not on about the flashing oil light, just resetting the service request.

Free version will not reset the service counter.
If the engine has a particulate filter, you must service it when necessary, and reset the counter, or it will shut down.
Never a good idea to reset the service counter until after the service is done, otherwise it'll be ignored or forgotten.

Its a bit of a laugh really. When I had my qubo clone I accidentally reset the service indicator and couldn't stop the oil light flashing for months and months. This time I've accidentally reset the oil degradation counter and can't reset the service indicator! MES downloaded and leads are on order ;)

MultiEcuScan failed to do anything without wanting me to buy it, I couldn't even read anything! All it would do was a simulation. So out with autocom, and although it isn't new enough to cover a Mk3 dobby it does cover a 2012 Fiat Ducato diesel which allowed us to talk to the ecu and reset the service counter. Now just shy of 22000 miles before I have to do this again. I'll have totally forgotten what I did by then!:D

MES will read everything from the free version, but is very limited in what it will do otherwise. The €50 licence is great value for money.

If MES did not read your car, probably your computer is not set up exactly as it needs to be. MES is a bit picky.
See post #5 of this thread, and follow it carefully.

It wasn't that it wouldn't connect, just every time we tried to make it read anything it demanded we use the paid up version. As autocom will do everything I want it to I'll stick with that.
