So, nice little job to distract me from the wedding, just replaced my clutch & dobbie did everything it could to thwart me - the worst being one of the bolts holding the starter motor.
Anyway, finally got the housing apart. On its way down to earth, it caught the speed sensor plug, removing the wires.
The plug obviously has a correct way to be inserted (notch on the end) with 1 pin to the right (looking open end on) and 2 to the left - but which wires belong where?
On the plus side, my mileage hasn't increased!
