well i must confess i rather thought all the JTD ELX's had ABS as standard. (mines a 2003 )well the recent wet weather and some last minute braking has made me realise that i either dont have it or its not working. Cant see any ABS inidcator light on the dash which suggests to me i dont have it....any advice welcome ...cheers

if theres no light it would either not be fitted or the bulb has been removed due to a fault.
if you look under the bonnet you should be able to see the ABS unit.put up a pic of the engine bay if you dont know what your looking for

jtd fairly fills that bay dont see any ABS gubbins there. hopefully a doblo owner wil confirm for sure but looks like it good old foot pumping for you(and me )

Bloody clean engine bay though. The man's obviously got nothing better to do on a Sunday

Right my elx has abs. A warning lamp on startup and heavy braking car park test confirm this.

The photo is the right hand side of the engine bay (right as in passenger side)


hope this helps, the large thingy is the accumulator and looks like some sort of control unit, it seems to have what look like high pressure hoses running out of it (similar to the thin stuff on my old xantia's hydraulic suspension)

ah well that confirms your lack of abs im afraid
