I think this has more than likely been asked before I had anyone ever fitted a double din radio into the mk1 doblo cargo I have an 05 1.9 Jtd an would love to upgrade the radio without having to cut the dashboard apart?

I asked about this before but there didn't seem to be much knowledge on it. There does seem to be a double din top unit in some doblos. One that came with sat nav. Ive kept an eye on ebay and the likes but never came accross one. Ive a double din unit i had in a caddie for a bit id love to fit.

There is a double din binnacle for the older dobbie & a thread does exist.
The binnacle is very pricey though.

I did try to persuade my local 3d print shop to have a go but they said they couldn't do it without loads of techie specs.
The whole 3d printing thing does seem over complicated though - I thought you could simply scan a pic & add dimensions and away it went, but no. I was hoping to be able to tell it to print something an inch wider and double the height (simply make the top & back wider & the sides deeper) but it's not as easy as that.
So I left the shop & the printer to continue making naff looking keyfobs.

I’ve fitted a double DIN unit in my 2007 (57) Doblo; I ordered a new binnacle from Brazil a few years back. I’ll try to find the details and share them; I think it cost around £100 once you factor in shipping and import duty.
