Hi, has anyone been able to find suitabily comfortable rear shocks (aftermarket)? I replaced my originals at 23k because of knocking noise on all roads. I fitted a cheap set (continental direct) that cured the noise but gave a bumpy ride, they lasted another 20k before the bushes started to creak, especially on reversing. I have recently fitted a set of KYB shocks that were sold as o.e. spec, and it is still a bumpy ride. I have no idea how much original items are, and have little faith in their longevity anyway. So, any feedback on this one please?

Problem identified, but not resolved yet.
I bought the KYB's from Autodoc, after some further investigation it would appear that they have the wrong part listing under my "vehicle identification".
So as a warning to anyone dealing with them, you have to ask them to check every part you order against your vin number.
The upshot is, KYB 349148 is apparently correct and not 349149 as their site would suggest.
Anyone out there want a set of heavy duty rear shock absorbers? ?
