Ok, So, this is such a simple, stupid question, I can't even believe I'm asking it!

The blower fan needs to be removed. Thing is squeeking and probably either has a half dead rodent in it, or a tonne of leaves... so, remove, clean, oil, reassemble.

Problem I'm having... how the heck do I remove the glovebox??

No end of pulling and tugging, and squeezing (The glovebox that is) achieved nothing... I was upsidedown on the passenger seat (On account of the cold, and keeping the door shut...) but alas, nothing...

If I figure this one out... I'll do a picture thread on the job ;-)

Look inside the glove box the right hand hinge has a spring tab. Use a flat head screwdriver to release it and it will pull out

I needed to remove the blower fan... I managed to do it by removing the cover behind the glove box... wow... would have been easier to get the glove box out!
