Good evening all!
Long post but never fear it does have an end!:bang:
First post on here so only bite gently to begin with!
I drive a 2002 52 plate Fiat Doblo ELX JTD - steel grey. Fantastic motor, and i can see why they have caught on! They are the way a car should be, sure footed handling, good engine and most of all room to carry five plus luggage in comfort and return 65 mpg on a long trip! (65 mpg the best we've got so far)
Its got 40,000 miles on it so far and its been fantastic.
The only thing that gets on my man boobs is the symphony orchestra of rattles! The rear suspension creaks and groans slightly, the front end creaks because they flex so much and the bloody sliding door area! argh and my glove box! argh thats the worst bit!
I solved a rattle coming form the sliding doors recently, might help fellow doblo owners... Bicycle inner tube or other similar rubber type stuff!
Take the plastic trim that covers the interior of the door runner on the rooflining, then where the screws are on the reverse of the plastic place the rubber over the screw, refit and enjoy germanic levels of refinement once again... now to sort that frickin glove box!
