I have a Fiat Doblo 1.3 Multijet (2010), and a day ago i changed a motor oil. I watched many videos on YouTube, and read arcticles about how to do it. I did change the oil well - just like in the videos. When i finished the operation, i turned on the engine. But the oil-pressure indicator is lightning continously. Not flashing. I think i did everything well. I don't really want to drive this way.
I cannot find a car mechanic - every single person say they are busy.
Can you say me something about this? I really needs the car couse of my work.

Thank you for fast respond.

Back to basics.

Check to see if there is oil still in the engine.
Check to see if the is any oil under or around the engine.
Make sure you have refitted your sump plug!
Was the replacement oil filter an exact copy of the one you took out.

Come back and tell us when you have done that.

Ken

Did you start the engine?
If it's just in the ignition position the oil light will always on

If you did have you double checked the dipstick to make sure it's between the minand max marks

Hello Ken and chris3234,

I checked the oil in the engine with the dipstick. The oil i between the min and the max marks on the dipstick. There is no oil around the engine and on the ground. I refitted several times the sump plug. And yes, the oil filter is the same like the previous filter.

Yes, i started the engine. I checked the dipstick about 20 times.

If i push the accelerator, and the engine goes up above 3000 rpm the oil-pressure lamp light off. When i take of my leg from the accelerator the lamp light up again.
