Hi all
I have a doblo 1.9 multijet 08, and I,m hoping to change the cam-belt kit etc, and was hoping that some one had done it before on here -can you point me to a diagram or pictures of any pitfalls. I have done cam-belts before last one on my 96 ducato m/home.

Cheers, and thanks for any help given.

Sam.

This site wont let me post URLS

Search you tube for 1.9 jtd cambelt. there is a video of a vauxhall zaferia with music and sub titles

This is very close. I did mine last week. its a two man job. access is about half what you see in this video.

Make sure you change the water pump, I read that this fails and takes the belt with it. Mine was stiff and creaky when turned by had so was on its way out (78,000 miles).

Mistakes I made

after taking the crank pulley off the aux belt there is a second wheel. I spent hours trying to get it off with a spanner. all it needed was a hammer tap its not held on by anything.

I disconnected the coolant and power steering bottles from their mounts. fluid dripped from the breather pipe on the power steering and made a mess.

you will also need a 22mm swan neck ring spanner as there isnt enough room for socket set.

Good luck

Hi thanks for you,r help will take it on board, any one one else got any info will be appreciated.

cheers sam.:)
