Hi all just wondering if anyone has changed the leaf springs on their doblo and was it a nightmare job? As I'm going to have to change the drivers side rear leaf so I'll be doing passenger side same time. It's a 2005 cargo van 1.9jtd and if anyone on here has any links or Recommendations on where to even order the parts it would be a great help.. thanks in advance

Since the Dobbin comes in many variants, I wonder if the leaf springs also change?

The dobbin cargo Is designed to carry a fair amount of weight so, presumably would have heavy duty springs?
The family is a 7 seater, so already carrying the additional weight of 2 seats hanging out beyond the rear axle, never mind the potential for 2 adults?

The other thing to consider is the rear shocks, they might not look to be doing anything more than dampening the bounce - but if you take them off I reckon the dobbin would sit right down low

Most of the taxi operators I know say they hang low:D & the 3 we dad all drooped badly.
The shocks wont jack up the rear even the gas filled other than a few mm
Regarding the springs I think there are 2 different ones there may be more, suppose Epir will tell you

Thanks both for your replies and I will be looking down all avenues to get her up off her arse so to speak [emoji6] what is epir if you don't mind me asking and how do I go about finding it? Thanks again much appreciated

fit heavy duty leaf springs cost about £250, takes a few hours of sweat, but well worth it, handles better and really pisses off land rover owners..lol
