My very well maintained 07 Doblo van 1.3 with 76k on it shows according to the trip computer that most journeys I am getting between 49 and 50 mpg, I did not think it was doing that well and I tried the full tank method, I filled the tank and completed 499 miles and filled again with 53.70 litres, this gave me 42.2 mpg, I was expecting more, is this about right ?

I cant compare with mine, but the I went from the generally accepted 195/60 R15 tyres on mine, up to 195/65 R15. Now the speedo is spot on to GPS and I am guessing the mpg therefore is better. Still reads over 50 on a run. Mine is a 1.9 JTD old skool Doblo though
