another job to do on my 57 plate Doblo !


my wipers are very noisy and juddery !


think its the linkage ?


I have heard and read that this is a common problem with them as on most fiats !


is the mk 2 punto wiper linkage the same ?


do the kits you can buy of the linkage rods really work ?


would like to hear from others please as its driving me mad !

Wiper blades are the no1 cause of noise and judder.
Fit Bosch wiper blades before thinking of attacking the linkage.
Plus wash your windscreen with detergent and a sponge.

Yes my 07 Cargo had squeaky wipers, I fitted the mod linkage system only to find they still squeaked [emoji37]. It turned out to be the actual wiper arm pivots just below the big spring which I then lubricated job done quiet again.
I do recommend fitting Bosch air blade refills they are cheap on eBay and last longer that Mr Fiat's.
 
there is a squeak from the wiper linkage aswell.


I have just stripped and cleaned up and lubricated the wiper linkage on my wifes Y reg Hyundai amica which had a really annoying squeak.


I too thought it was the wipers until I had lubed the wiper linkage and now it is smooth and noiseless !


think I need to do the same job on the doblo
