Hey everyone,
please can someone help with an annoying light on my dash. The light is for the stop/start function on a Doblo 2013 1.6 diesel.
It came on and the stop/start no longer works (which in of itself I don't mind!)
there are no other messages. I have changed to a brand new battery to see if this helped but no. I removed the gearstick gator and plastic surround and had a look to see if any wires/sensors were loose, no. Had a look under the hood and under the footwell at the pedals but all looks good.
Please anyone have an idea what it might be? I have heard for other models that resetting the neutral switch can help if so, anyone know where that might be located? This light is really hacking me off!!!!
All help gladly accepted
Cheers all.:bang:

Hey there I had this issue because my battery was dying and couldn't hold enough charge. Perhaps your new one isn't charged enough?

Theres also a button next to the handbreak allowing you to turn stat/stop on and off maybe this is off?

I also notice that if my fog lights or windshield warmer is on then start/stop wont work. I guess this is maybe because these functions use too much power and the start/stop may not be able to restart? Just a theory.

Lastly, did you buy a start/stop capable battery? I'm not entirely sure what the difference is. The start/stop battery probably holds a bigger charge and costs nearly double a standard battery.

Hey thanks for your reply. I am sure that it is not the battery but what I really want to know is the whereabouts of the 1) neutral switch
2) clutch switch
The button next to the handbrake is on constantly so I don't have the option to turn the system off, unless someone knows how to disable it!

I have the same problem. Bought a new switch from Fiat thinking that was the issue but the light is still on.
Came on after hubby fixed the broken linkage issue I had.
Any advice most welcome.
Thanks
