2010 Doblo 263 2.0L 16v

I am trying to sort out an error on my EGR valve. It has an open circuit according to Multiecuscan. Can someone tell me which part of the unit is the EGR. The rear part just has a butterfly in the port. The front part near the EGR cooler has a vacuume controlled cylinder with an external vac/electric control.
I am assuming it's the front one but need to be sure.
