Hi, went to unlock rear door tonight and was a bit fast pulling handle whilst unlocking and somethings gone in the lock. Bottom lock is unlatching but the top one won't release. Can anyone kindly PM me with how I can get into the van? Need to get to in and have no side doors to open!
Thanks

No side door & bulkhead ? no cut out for window in bulkhead :eek: that's a double EEEK.
Always had side door's you are not in a good place it sounds as iff the top latch pull rod has come detached

You do have a bulkhead with no access don't you
Then you may have to drill out the door handle fixing screw
The part I think is causing the problem is No.1 & associated c**p clip
I hope others have a simpler way to help

Never found one with a NUT always either plastic or pressed tin c**p

Hi, well, sorry but not really any useful answers to me or in the archive of previous posts so bit the bullet this morning and using a small grinder and a cutting disc, made a nice hole in the bulkhead for me to climb through and unbolt the top lock bracket off the body to get the door open.
It must have looked pretty spectacular to see the cab full of sparks as I ground my way across the steel sheet but no fires resulted.... neighbours were curtain twitching though :)

Fault was plastic rod clip had come off the lock, put back on and lock's a good one again.

Beware, always unlock van first and return key to vertical position before trying to lift handle or you too will be making sparks in your cab trying to get into the back....... and i can still smell the burnt steel now 8 hours later. :yuck:

Still next time your ferret will be in there double quick :D
