Another 5 years has gone and I've got to that age where I need to get my local dealership to change my cambelt again!

Mileage is 54,000. Does the water pump need changing as well?

ALWAYS easier to get it done at the same time as the belt !!

Hi,

Well, took the car in today to have the belt changed.

Service manager recommended also changing the water pump at this age/mileage as its failure can wreck an engine .... can't argue with that.
