Had Doblo for 2 years and we have just leared to live with this but would be great to resolve.
When we accelerate, go round a corner a bit quick or break the central locking goes wild and warning lights come on the dash... any ideas?

You don't say which year or model you have but...

I have a 2007 MPV version and recently had the door open indicator and interior light coming on in similar circumstances. With this model there is a known problem with the sliding door open/closed switches. I read on here that there was a dealer fix to extend the sprung rod which presses on the switch. This probably involved glueing on a small piece of plastic, or something like that.

With mine, I cut down a small self adhesive rubber pad to about 3-4mm square and stuck it to the sprung rod as a test. It fixed the problem.

You could try something similar as a test with paper cardboard or whatever to confirm the cause, and then find a more permanent solution.

I confirmed which door on mine by sitting in the car with the engine running and pushing and pulling on the closed doors in turn to see if the open light came on. It was the offside rear sliding door in my case.

If not switch related, it may be a wiring or loose/corroded connector elsewhere.

In the past I also had a problem with the rear tailgate lock mechanism needing lubrication. This caused the central locking to bounce intermittently (immediately unlocking after lock).

Even if yours is a different model, the cause may be similar.

Anyway, best of luck, and please report back when you have fixed it :)

Cheers,
Barry.

I've got the same problem with my 2011 1.3 Multijet Doblo Cargo except now the central locking has completely failed and I cannot get the sliding door to open at all.
I have to lock and unlock the 3 doors (driver, passenger and rear) inidividually.

Any help with regards to what I can do, short of taking a hammer to the b******d would be appreciated.
