Ok

I had to have a push start last night. as soon as the engine started the Engine failure light came on... no problems driving (so far) just a bit worrying... any ideas?

did you find out what the problem was? my doblo had to be towed off tonight as service, change oil (even though oil was changed and new filter put in two weeks ago) and engine failure came on. Had just pulled in to park and came out half hour later and yellow light came on with engine failure, it started up ok but no power in it to drive. Was miles from home.

Not sure if it's the same thing. Years ago I started the Doblo (2010-on model) and the dash lit up like a Christmas tree. I can't remember now which lights these were. Although the engine ran there was no power and it could just pull away on tickover. The fault was with the throttle position sensor at the pedal which was replaced under warranty.

Assuming its not a constant snarky problem the light should go out after a few engine starts. If it then remains unlit it was just something intermittent and can probably be ignored. If the light comes back on you really need to get the codes read from the engine management system at the garage.
