Hi...My wife owns a fiat doblo 1.9 diesel on a 56 plate, the clutch pedal is heavy and she is now having trouble getting it into gear. Has anyone came across this problem or have any ideas..

kind regards

rich

Sounds like the clutch is in need of replacement. Not sure which type of clutch is in a Doblo, but in a compression release clutch as the clutch plate wears the fingers of the clutch come back (high pedal biting point) therefore needing more effort to compress & release. As for difficulty getting into gear, this can also be associated as the worn plate can distort due to wear & then not allowing the clutch to fully disengage. I hope some of that makes sense? ☺

tbh Richard mine is now similar to this I've got an 04 1.9jtd and its very juddery especially when its cold or when setting off loaded, although my gear change is still quite smooth, my mechanic says on described symptoms its sounds like the springs worn, although clutch does not slip at all. I would have thought yours was defo a dual mass flywheel clutch, mine as well probably.

Hi.. Need some help I limped home in limp mode and I have fault code p0520 oil censor.. Is this terminal or easy fix.. Richardfliss

Hi Charlie.. It's a 1.3 Diesel qubo on a manual transmission.. The fault does reset when obd computer to rest it. to normal driving then after a few minutes goes into limp home mode, the fault says its engine oil circuit/censor. The code is P0520..
Kind regards
