if left more then a day or two my van wont start it will turn over and fire now and then . but if i get it started and start it every day its fine any ideas possible fuel related

Maybe.. petrol or diesel.., ..??

if diesel - check glowplugs, then use diagnostics to get fuel rail pressures

:idea:worth heating the plugs 3 times before cranking on starter - try that the times it plays up.. if it's better you need to get a plug or 2 changed

awkward to get to on the JTD..mine are waiting 'til the spring..

I have to do this. Even come the afternoon after driving to work, have to do two clicks on and off of pre-heating, then go for a start.
Otherwise it'll just crank and wont fire.
Fires up no problem at all when the engine is hot.
