Hi all,

I'm looking to locate the glow plug module/relay on a 1.9 JTD Doblo Cargo. Can anyone point me in the right direction. I had all four glow plugs replaced by a local garage, but the glow plug light is still flashing after a cold start. I believe the relay/control module is next to be replaced.

I *think* it's on the bulkhead behind the engine, but this is what you're looking for.

PS: my own thought is that if you just shelled out to have the glowplugs replaced, they should work, and if there was a problem with the relay, they should have identified it. #1 GP is a notorious cow to do (#2 not far behind) and without casting aspersions - if you have 5 minutes it might be worth taking the covers off the engine and making sure all your new glowplugs are new glowplugs - in case they "forgot" #1 hoping it was alright, but it aint ')


To add, that relay isn't cheap, circa £50 even on fleabay, so paying them to do # 1 and hide it in the bill for the relay... you get my drift. I'd definitely have a look...

The van belongs to my father who I believe had the plugs replaced. Sadly he passed away last year, so I went back to the mechanic about the fault light. He assures me they were changed, but has since proven to be very unreliable. So I'm not 100% convinced they were changed. I do plan on checking them first before replacing the relay.
