General Number of Doblo's

General Number of Doblo's

I dunno - but it was bloody hard finding a second hand one - two in a 50 mile radius of me.

Good in that I can always find it in the car park - bad in that spares might be an issue in years to come.

Let's face it, it's a very eccentric vehicle to come out of a major manufaturer - most aren't going to get it. I know Top Gear hate it (have you read their review in the magazine - not many cars get lower marks than the 1.2 Dobbie).

But hey you can't get seven people in a Ferrari.

Fiat are more than pleased with sales of Doblo's especially larger engined models. I have a mate working for Fiat UK who tells me the Doblo is a nice little earner for them, especially the passenger models. Cheap to build!

TopGear used to be such a great programme, but its just a trendy lads mag show now. What they know and say about cars isn't worth knowing!

I'd agree with Doblos being more noticable north of the border.
In my first post on the Forum I mentioned that I couldn't find a Doblo in a main dealer's to have a look... plenty on the road though!

On holiday in England during the summer I can't recall seeing ONE passenger Doblo - while touring through Yorkshire I was even asked if was converted model I'd imported from Europe?

Is England full of Berlingos???

I think we need to know....

TopGear? Nice to watch, would never, EVER, go with their advice. In there world if it hasn't a BMW badge and costs less than £50k then its a 'novelty' passing off as a REAL car, for the great unwashed.

Got quite a few on the road in Barnsley must see about five a day, suprised you did not see one at all in Yorkshire

Was out in the 'boonies'.
It was getting the comment of it being an import that made us notice that we weren't seeing any...

I also see that the Forum has had a make-over/new host?
At last we Doblo owners aren't just 'FIAT - OTHERS' !!!
:D

Well i can safely say the Doblo has made its pressence known on Tyneside! They are like dog crap. The taxi companys have bought huge fleets of the high roof versions and as well as that businesses use the cargos by the bucket load. The combi version is also pretty popular and you don't go more than an hour without seeing one drive past the house.:)
