Hi guys My 2002 Fiat Doblo Cargo as developed a slight fuel leak from around the pump at the back of the engine I have checked all the pipes and tightened a Leakey injector witch as since dried up its very difficult to pin point where exactly its coming from but think its the pump I am in the very near future going to change the timing belt and was thinking of fitting a second-hand pump does anyone no if they have to be reprogramed or are they just plug and play so to speak
Anyone had similar or any info appreciated.

Thanks in advance Monty

Just fit it,doesn't need programming all it does is supply high pressure fuel to common rail,as long as replacement is same part, don't know what they are like to fit though!

If it is the 1.9jtd engine then no programming is needed and also does not need timing. It is just a high pressure pump and the cog can be in any position when you change the belt. You can buy a set of seals to refurbish the pump but when I did that the pump still did not work. Second hand pumps are cheap on e bay.
I dont know about other engines fitted in the Doblo.
