hello all i have a 2002 doblo 1.9 with 68000 miles on it all was going fine until the fan belt broke.got new fan belt put on and all was fine for about a week until i was going to start her one day and there was a strong smell off diesel had a look and diesel was coming form the back off the diesel pump lift the van in and got pump off another van was told it was good .got it fitted and now it is lumpy?when you start the van for the first time its rough as if the choke is not working .and when i drive the van its fine when you drive it at 50 or 60 .its when you have to slow down it sounds and feels like its missing and the revs take a while to come back down .can any confirm do i need to get the pump coded to the van??please can any one help:idea:

I would double check all connection and pipes,it may need a fuel filter,does it have any fault codes,it could be a coincidence and nothing to do with pump,glowplugs or egr or maf sensor could produce some of the problems you have,i have never had to code a pump yet,immobiliser should be separate as common rail can just stop starter and injectors operating,older immobiliser systems were in pump,never heard of it in common rail pump,i would assume it wouldn't run at all.
