O/s rear sliding door handle, cast metal mounting bracket inside has snapped. Still sort of useable and still locks but obviously now hanging off slightly (now gaffa taped) I suppose I'm looking at having a new (and expensive) handle fitted. Anyone else had this and if so what's my best options and what's it likely to cost. I looked at salvage dealers but doing it myself may be beyond me

Mine broke a few days ago whilst trying to open the door when it was frozen. New part is circa £145. I have neither the time nor the tools to fix it myself so it will cost some £200 by the time it's fixed.

My N/S one has just gone the same way.

Now trawling Ebay to see if I can find a part...

I can get a whole new door for £30 it seems. Wrong colour mind, but who wants a matching door anyway?

Did any one buy there handle from eBay did it fit? I bought one from eBay it came from Poland and it was wrong as the crank was different?
