I think you are right ben just had a good quote from a friend here in sunny east sussex-on-sea and yes they are going to be refurbed back to shaddow chrome. If an anyone can help I`am looking for an Stilo 16" alloy only one or two as spares thank`s.
Well if anyone is still looking to do this, I've got some advice for you. Found that the best tyre size combination is:
205/40/17
Using this, although the width of the tyre is considerably more (it can be fitted probably with spacers though) but the rest leaves the wheels at about the same diameter, leaving you with an accurate speedo and the same rolling radius. This size is shown in the picture below.
I think this is a lovely example of how the Doblo can be modded and made to look rather nice. By the way, has anyone had any problems with the sliding doors fouling the alloys? As I'm thinking of putting some on when I get mine? Also, anyone know of any places in the UK selling stuff like the Silver Bars or will I need to get them from abroad?

Cheers for that! That's great Will probably not do a lot to the outside of mine yet, gonna concentrate more on the audio and some little bits on the interior, but I will definately bear them in mind! Has anyone actually found the RIGHT tyre yet for their Doblo on standard rims, cause I know they don't seem to last very long unless you get the right tyres?

Hi, I've been inspired!
I bought a doblo (2003, JTD ELX, 50,000 miles) and went looking for information... so I've come to join you!
Anyway, in a moment of madness I picked up a set of 16" stilo alloys for my doblo :slayer: . Ebay, £110, taken off a new car, just need the centre caps if anyone can help?
What tyre size works best on the 16"?
And I see that you used 15mm spacers - do I need longer wheel bolts too?
