Hello dobbie forum members
i've had a few problems with banana dobbie of late!!!
first of all he had a little welding done, which seemed to cause a problem with the immobiliser after much flappin about finally mr orange van came to the rescue & the immobiliser reset its self:worship: .but now the ignition switch/barrel is abit dodgey seems the tumblers are out of phase or the keys worn .now if i replace the lot i would av to fix the transponer near the receiver ,or can i remove the transponer from the key & insert in a new one !!! as its getting a bit embrassing fiddling with the key till it turns !!

Re: dobbie dodgy switch/barrel

I have also this problem. to get a new key cut from fiat £300+ I can get a new set of 4 locks and a new iginition barrel from ebay for around a £100. My local garage say it will take around 2 hours to change if all goes well so I should save about £100:rolleyes:
