Just bought myself a 2005 1.9 jtd Fiat Doblo, and it has a issue. Before i start spending big, just thought id ask here to see if anyone has any ideas?
Thought it had EGR fault as it would not start unless the egr had been disconnected, ie, remove one side of flexi pipe.
Removed EGR and it had seized, decoked and cleaned it up, popped it back on and it started straight away.
Turned off, and would not restart.
Now, it will only start if the vacuum pipe to intake housing is removed.
So, i 'plugged' the end of pipe, starts and runs but has no power at all when driving.
Showing 2 error codes which i cleared, one was p0404 and the other was p0235.
Now, with the vacuum plugged, it shows no error codes, but as soon as reconnect the vacuum to the intake, the p0235 error comes back.
Cleaned the MAP sensor too.
Does this point squarely at the EGR or is there something sinister lurking???
