Posts: 432 Thanks: 15 Trader Rating: 0 ![]() | Coolant drip Anyone had any water pump failures on mk3 1.3 mjet doblo's. There is a drip coming from that area on mine. ![]()

Coolant has lubricating properties, so if in the past some owner has burst a hose (or more likely a radiator on these...) they may have run it for a while with no or insufficient amount of coolant and the bearing will run too hot. If this happens, the seal goes and the pump starts leaking ![]()

It may not be coming from the water pump although that drip certainly points in that direction. I have only noticed it since had the cover off due Sh!tfit chewing up the sump plug which they can't remove. New one on order so they had better find a way of removing it. Last time I go to them for anything, they lost the cover from my brothers Doblo. (£200) for new 1. They paid! ![]()
