Hi guys,

I have a 1.9JTD Doblo van wiv a warning light on after ignition.
My mechanic (reliable) has told me it is a Fuel heat plate relay?
He can not find it and no info via internet tells us which one it is? Just says don't worry it's not needed?!
Can anyone help and point in the right direction? Pictures or words would be great!

Many thanks
marc

Are you referring to the 'glow plug' warning light - orange light that looks like a coil of wire (approx. 4 loops)?
If yes there is a control box/unit bolted on the bulk head inside the engine bay just left of the fuel filter when you a facing the windscreen.
Generally it indicates the glow plugs need investigating but personally I believe other issues may have an effect. I changed my glow plugs last year and occassionally, I still get the glow plug light comes on for a few seconds which I put down to an electrical gremlin that I just live with.
Do a youtube search which will show your mechanic how to do a circuit test with a multimeter which may give him some ideas if the glow plugs do indeed need changing.
