Hi People new on this forum!

Got hold of an 02 Doblo Cargo 1.9d a couple of days ago. Had the backdoor problem with the little pin having been replaced with a bolt and nuts which just didn't work - Solution: Luckily I have a breaker's yard around the corner from me who break a lot of Doblo taxis. Popped in and got hold of replacement handle and bottom catch for £30 which I felt was fair.

Have mostly completed the job but have the problem of the bolt which holds the handle to the door has had the bolt head rounded off, to prevent it being compromised I guess. So have to drill that out tomorrow and put original bolt back in with a large washer on the inside to make it secure.

Also had the not starting issue. Would turnover for ages but not start. So tried the 'swap the red relays' trick and it started almost first time so that's that problem sorted hopefully.

Went out for around 20 min drive today, parked for 2 hours then ran fine until I was near home and started to be a little bit sluggish. At slow speed in either 1st or 2nd gear it felt like I was towing a tank and it felt like I needed to rev higher. Not sure if there is an obvious solution to this as I guess it could be more than one cause. Would appreciate any ideas on why this might happen or do I need to provide more info on the van. Not sure if it's the jtd or not as I don't have the log book yet.

TIA

If it's a JTD it will have a turbo (the 1.9 JTD pulls like a train uphills) but if it's the 1.9D it has the awful lucas epic system. The black engine cover will say JTD on it and held on by 4 x 10mm bolts.
